Let us know your goal and give us adequate notice, and we're sure we can satisfy your multimedia needs. If in doubt...ask! If you need assistance or simply want to know if something is possible, call the CTL at ext. 5617 to inquire. Training, Project Assistance and Costs Staff can provide instruction on how to use self-service items or classroom equipment as well as support other types of media production needs. Remember that planning is key. The more notice we have, the more successful (and less stressed) you will be. Production turnaround is typically five days but may vary according to size of project and peak times—it is best to plan early and coordinate with CTL staff to ensure the successful completion of your project. Charges are based on cost of materials and will be billed to the requesting department; personal projects may be accommodated with approval if time and materials allow. Basic Copying Photocopies: self serve; department account number is required for chargeback Transparencies: single sheets, rolls or for photocopying Specialty Duplication & Digitizing Audio Tape Duplication Copying digital files to CD Document Scanning with optical character reading software Slide Scanning: copying 35 mm slides to CD or DVD Photo Scanning: copying photographs to CD or DVD Videotape to DVD conversion Specialty Printing An array output is possible using the large format printer. Promotional posters, banners and other images may be digitized and printed on a variety of media.
