Faculty Vacation Time
Full-time faculty accrue vacation at a rate of 8 1/3 days per trimester for a total of 25 days per fiscal year. Palmer College of Chiropractic operates on a July 1 thru June 30 fiscal year.

Faculty Sick Time
Faculty Sick Full-time faculty and residents receive 96 hours (12 days) of sick leave each fiscal year credited on July 1 of each year (new employees are provided with a pro-rated balance based on the amount of time remaining in the current fiscal year). Sick leave may be used in increments of one hour. A maximum of 384 hours (48 days) of sick leave may be carried over to the following year.
