Event Coordination

All events, both on campus and off, reflect the image and integrity of Palmer College of Chiropractic, so it is important that they are brought to the attention to Marketing and Public Relations in order to ensure that the proper procedures are followed and assistance can be given.

The organization of special events for the colleges is mainly done through Marketing & Communications. The Public Relations and Events Specialist plans events on the Palmer College campus and assists with those on the Palmer Florida and Palmer West campuses.

Events

Putting on special events can be expensive, time-consuming and filled with detail work. Marketing & Communications can assist you or offer advice. The Public Relations and Events Specialist in Marketing and Public Relations is your initial contact and can assist you in a variety of ways for the planning and implementation of your special event.

The Public Relations and Events Specialist provides information on:

  • Developing the theme (or look and feel) of the event
  • Finding a caterer
  • Selecting a florist
  • Coordinating printed materials
  • Coordinating audio/visual materials
  • Constructing a set-up and teardown plan
  • Contacting the Facilities Department (regarding maintenance and security issues)
  • Reserving a room/location
  • Developing an advertising plan
  • Developing a guest list
  • On-campus promotion
  • Developing a realistic budget
