The following links will enable you to access a brief review of each section of the material covered in the 12:05 Rad One class. Please utilize it as a brief review and as a reinforcement of knowledge and skills already achieved and not as a substitute for attending lectures and reviewing cases on a regular basis. Again, the key to learning and understanding Radiology is to look at films, look at films and look at films on a regular basis.
Click on the links listed below to access the PowerPoint review lectures.
The lecture reviews contain numerous images and may take a little while to open and load, please be patient. Also, after the PowerPoint slide lectures open click the SLIDE SHOW BUTTON in the bottom right of the window to enable you to run the program as a slide show. Running as a slide show will give the lectures the correct animation needed for proper viewing. Also, if your computer is downloading the images slowly on certain slides be patient and wait a minute to click the mouse after the images fully load, as you might miss something important. One last note of importance you may have to disable your pop blocker to be able to engage the slide show. (Somehow your computer may think that the slide show is similar to a pop up and block the images).
I hope these reviews are helpful in your endeavor to really learn the vast topic of radiology. And don't forget to view the review lecture materials as a slide show. THE SLIDES UTILIZED IN THIS REVIEW ARE FOR REVIEW PURPOSES ONLY AND ARE NOT THE ANSWERS TO ANY EXAMINATION. THE MATERIAL COVERED IN LECTURE AND READING ASSIGNMENTS REPRESENT THE MATERIALS NEEDED FOR AN EXAMINATION. LECTURE MATERIALS OVERRIDE ANY POTENTIAL DISCREPANCY WITH THE REVIEW AND WITH ACTUAL LECTURE MATERIALS!
